About

Professional Life

My professional life started when I was 8.  My 12-yr old brother and I started “D&S Odd Jobs for Hire,” a neighborhood lawn-mowing business with the occasional bit of (brutal) weed-pulling and (simple) house-sitting.   Since then, the restaurant job allowed me to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Math, I spent a year as an AmeriCorps VISTA, coached soccer, tutored, and worked for software companies.  I’m currently enjoying life as a licensed REALTOR®, a university math instructor, trivia host and regional director, and teaching Stage Confidence classes.  Occasionally you can find me on stage or showing up on your TV or computer screen.

Personal Life

I’m a Bozeman, Montana native, and my favorite thing to do is go for a bike ride or walk with my dog…it’s even better when my wife joins us, and it can go either way when either or both of my 2 amazing step-kids decide to join.  I love improvising, both on stage and in life, and my passion lies in improving my and my students relationships. Favorite volunteer activities include CAP mentoring with Thrive, being a Befriender, and helping out at Fork & Spoon.
